Policies & Procedures

  1. Scheduling:  I do my best to accommodate the needs of your pet.  I will provide a time frame in which your pet is to be seen, and do my best to notify you if changes need to be made.

  2. Appointments:  Appointments are required, and it is best to plan in advance to reserve the time / date you desire.  

  3. Cancellations: Due to the mobile and fluid nature of my services, 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointment.  Failure to give notice OR not being home during your scheduled appointment time may result in a Cancellation Fee of $25.

  4. Collars/Leashes: All dogs must have secure collars with current ID tags for all appointments conducted outside the home.

  5. Payment: Cash, Check, Zelle, Venmo or Credit Card through the website are accepted.  Payment is due, in full, at the time services are rendered.  

  6. Updates: Please reach out immediately with any changes: new pet/s, illness, medications, treatment plans or testing.

  7. Other scheduled services: Pawsitively Housecalls does not accept liability for any other person/s that will be in your home prior to, during or after services have been rendered.  Please inform us, prior to your appointment, of anyone who may have access to your home/pets.  

  8. Owners are required to be present during all appointments unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

  9. Privacy Policy: All of your information is kept private and confidential.  

Contractual Agreement

  1. I authorize Pawsitively Housecalls to administer pet care services to my pet/s.

  2. The Client will be responsible for all medical expenses and damages resulting from an injury to the pet care provider, or other persons, by the pet.  Client agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend Pawsitively Housecalls, in the event of a claim by any person injured by the pet.

  3. I agree to reimburse Pawsitively Housecalls for any additional fees for providing emergency care ($35/hr), as well as any expenses incurred for unexpected visits, transportation, housing, food, supplies, etc.

  4. Pawsitively Housecalls is not responsible for security of the premises or loss if other individuals have access to the home during the term of this agreement.

  5. The client expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against Pawsitively Housecalls, except those arising from negligence.  Client agrees to notify Pawsitively Housecalls of any concerns within 24hrs of appointment.

  6. It is understood that Pawsitively Housecalls is performing these services at my request or is acting under the indirect supervision of my veterinarian within my home.  It is expressly understood that Pawsitively Housecalls cannot make any diagnoses, assessments, treatment plans, discuss the interpretations of test results, and/or change orders of any treatment plan. I authorize Pawsitively Housecalls to provide these treatments and/or tests in my absence.

  7. Pawsitively Housecalls will provide, via email, medical record/s transcripts to my RDVM within 24 hours of visit. 

I,                                                   have read, understand and agree to the above policies of Pawsitively Housecalls.  I further understand that a copy of this agreement will be kept on file for documentation purposes.  All policies are subject to change at the discretion of Pawsitively Housecalls.
